| Ron Nichols Position: Director Ron Nichols has over 35 years experience in the exploration industry. He has expertise in both project management and property generation from his experience with both junior and senior companies. Mr. Nichols graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1967 with a BSc in Geology, and has been registered as a Professional Engineer since 1975. He is also a member of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG). He began his career in 1967, at Cominco Ltd, and during his 23 years there specialized in advanced projects, often involving complex logistical situations in remote areas throughout Canada, Greenland, and South America. His experience included planning and supervising numerous drill projects searching for porphyry copper, volcanogenic massive sulphides, carbonate lead -- zinc, and a variety of gold deposit types. While at Cominco he had direct experience in the transition from exploration to development at the Valley Copper and, the Snip mines in British Columbia, and the Black Angel mine in Greenland. In addition to his position as Director of Decade Resources Ltd., Mr. Nichols is currently Senior Vice President of Exploration for Aurcana Corporation, which has an operating mine in Mexico, and a development project in Texas. |
